Interesting premise, engrossing drama [second half keeps you hooked], neat performances [#AyushmannKhurrana, #ShefaliShah] are a big plus… Patchy first half [humour falls flat] and forgettable music are downers. #DoctorGReview pic.twitter.com/FVNUyVtI5X

Doctor G Box-Office Report
The film is doing well in multiplexes and can prove people wrong who often talk about the rare scope of the market for mid-sized films. However, there is still a long way to go for the film to be called a blockbuster hit and word of mouth will decide it further in the upcoming days.
As per movie critic Taran Adarsh, the film, made on a budget of Rs. 30-35 crore, grossed around Rs. 3.78 crore on the opening day, which is a lot more than expected.
