Ahead of the Onam festival, Havells has rolled out its festive campaigns. Havells made two advertisements featuring Mohanlal and actress Anushree, which were conceptualized by McCann.
“The campaign captures the best-in-class features of the Lloyd Estello washing machine and Lloyd refrigerator. We are confident that going forward we will strengthen our position in the washing machine and refrigerator segments, addressing the evolving needs of new-age consumers,” said Rajesh Rathi, executive vice president of Havells.
Apart from that, the executive vice president of marketing at Havells India, Rohit Kapoor, said the aim of this campaign is to capture the very spirit of Onam—a time when homes are filled with love and joy.
Mohanlal and Anusree Lloyd Washing Machine Ad
The advertisements are live across all platforms. The first ad for Lloyd’s Washing Machine features Mohanlal and Anusree as a couple. The advertisement is trying to showcase gender sensitization captured through little thoughtful gestures.
In the video, Anusree is shown disappointed as an outfit that she planned to wear the next day has a stain on it. As he sees her in anguish, Mohanlal decides to wash the clothing the following morning so that he can surprise his wife.

In the second video, Mohanlal is seen eating dinner while Anusree, who is most likely home from work, approaches. She responds that she didn’t have the time to prepare dinner and that nothing would be open at this time for her to order food when he asks her about it.
Then he instructs her to access the fridge. She is happy to find that her husband thoughtfully made dinner for her and put it in the refrigerator.
Both advertisements showcase how small gestures can make someone’s day and how Lloyd’s appliances make it easy.
