Team India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah will make his return after one year, was last played ODI against England in July 2022, recovered from a lower back injury now. Bumrah will lead the Indian team in the next three-match T20 series against Ireland at Malahide.

On July 31, 2023, the BCCI released the lineup for the T20 Internationals against Ireland. Jasprit Bumrah, who is back in the lineup and is fully fit, will serve as the team’s captain during this series. The vice-captain of the 15-man T20 team is Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Indian Team consists of seven players from India’s T20 squad for the West Indies tour. Due to his continuous play in the Indian T20 League, Rinku Singh received his first call-up to the Indian Team. Shivam Dube and wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma also received calls. After missing time due to injuries, Prasidh Krishna and Washington Sundar are also back on the team.
