Created by Disney Plus, The Santa Clauses is an upcoming American Christmas comedy miniseries that is based on The Santa Clauses film series, which itself is based on an original story by Leo Benvenuti and Steve Rudnick.
The upcoming mini series serves as the continuation to the third film of the franchise: “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause” (2006), with the other two being The Santa Clauses (1994) and The Santa Clause 2 (2002).
The film series was one of the most successful film franchises with mostly positive reviews and was a box-office success. Keeping the success on mind, the makers decided to come up with a series. With The Santa Clauses mini series, the franchise marks its comeback after a 16-year long period.

- The series marks the return of veteran actor-comedian Tim Allen in his role as Scott Calvin or Santa Claus. He will also reprising the role of Tony Santa, the antagonist from the second film of franchise.

The Santa Clauses OTT Release Date
Disney has revealed the release date of the debut season of The Santa Clauses mini series. The series , which has four episodes, will premiere its first 2 episodes on November 16, exclusively on Disney+ and Disney+Hotstar. The third and fourth episodes will premiere on November 23 and November 30, respectively.

The Santa Clauses Series Trailer
Along with revealing the release date, Disney also dropped an intriguing 2-minute long trailer of the series. It gives us a glimpse of a familiar SantA Claus, who hangs up his boots and beard to spend more time living a normal life with his family. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott is set out to fin a suitable replacement for Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in life south of the pole.
